The Pelicans Came back just before our last late snow in April. These photos were taken after the snow melted. I just love pelicans. They hang out at the weir on our river. The fish that go over the weir get stunned and are easy pickens.
This next photo is of a Red Winged Black Bird. I remember the first time I noticed one when I was a child. Grandpa Muller and I had a wonderful drive in the feild to see the cows and there was one of these pretty little birds.
Because of the late snow many robins hung out in the city on sort of a lay over so there were tonnes of them every where. There wasn't much for them to eat though.
