I am not sure if I should continue across the apricot in the corner with more rows of feather stitch or do something else? What on the purple apricot seam.

I love that one seam, too! It's just gorgeous. With the feather stitching, what if you changed colors and overstitched some of those, then headed off in a twisty direction across the block, instead of rows going down the seam?
